If you would like to make a booking at the hall please contact the bookings secretary, Teresa Lerry, by email to discuss further.
You can check availability on our calendar.
Once a booking is made please sign the Hiring Agreement. A booking is treated as Provisional until this has been returned and you have received a formal confirmation of booking. Please also read our Standard Terms & Conditions of Hire and our Health and Safety policy and Safeguarding Policy.
For general information about the use of the hall once a booking has been made please see the Hirer’s Safety Information.
COVID-19 SAFETY – new regulations from October 2020
Any hall hirers must read the following documents to ensure everyone’s maximum safety regarding Covid-19:
Special Hall Hire Conditions – to be read in conjunction with standard conditions of hire
Sample Risk Assessment – can be completed by anyone hiring the hall if they feel it is appropriate
For more information about guidelines for village hall use, please read the
Licensing – Due to licensing considerations, Committee permission must be granted for any function where music or dancing will take place. SALE OF ALCOHOL is only allowed with the permission of the Licensee (contact us).
You may also download our Fire Risk Assessment. Before your hall hire you should read this and ensure that you are familiar with the fire evacuation procedure.
Our hire charges. The hall hire charge gives access to the whole building, including a well stocked kitchen with crockery and cutlery for 80 places plus a bar area with glasses of all standard bar sizes for a similar number. Hire charges also include fibre broadband which is now available at the hall.
Whilst we will endeavour to ensure every booking runs smoothly, please be aware that all village hall committee members are volunteers and do this in their spare time. Your understanding is appreciated.
